This is a handmade journal with a fabric cover in a carpetbagger junk journal style. The inspiration for this was the Frau Majorin for whom the famous composer, Robert Schumann, wrote two of his pieces. I included a piece of the sheet music for you.
The journal is covered with antique upholstery and ribbon over lightweight book board (so it is not too floppy). It ties shut with a sari silk ribbon. The inside features coffee-stained paper, ledger paper, pockets, envelopes for storage of your memorabilia, and much more. I left lots of room for you to be able to journal or decorate it further. There is one signature of 20 pages, for a total of approx. 80 pages. The signature is hand-sewn through the spine.
