Vintage Button Collection, Mounted to Chipboard
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a vintage button card from the estate of a lovely lady that collected buttons and was a life-long member of the central Maine Button Club! The Club was founded in 1946. Several hundred active collectors formed the society. At its height, the society was the largest of its kind in the United States. It was disbanded in 1990.
Each button is affixed to a piece of decorated chipboard with a colorful wire tie (they are NOT glued down). They are wonderful to use as a craft supply, as ephemera on a junk journal, or to add to your button collection.
The buttons come in multiple sizes and are made from a variety of materials - I did not research the buttons, so please know that I cannot tell you what they are made of...some of them may be valuable!
****This card includes:
15 vintage buttons in shades of cream and white. Some have minor blemishes/stains. Many are in the shape of a flower. Some are flat and some have shanks. Ranging in size from 1" - 1.5"". The chipboard measures 8" x 10".
